The compactness of a benchtop centrifuge with the performance of a floor-standing centrifuge. With its all-purpose design, the Sigma 6 16S is suitable for a wide variety of routine and research applications. Particularly thanks to the ability to use large-capacity fixed-angle rotors with high RCF, the centrifuge covers a distinctly broader spectrum of applications compared to competitive units.
The Sigma 6 16S delivers precise separation results in all cases, whether blood pouches, petroleum flasks, microtiter and deepwell plates, or tubes and flasks from 0.2 ml to 1,000 ml.
It is widely used in microbiology and molecular biology, pharmaceutics, genomics, clinical diagnostics, bioproduction, cell culture labs and transfusion facilities. A total of twelve fixed-angle and six swing-out rotors are available, along with numerous buckets and adapters – including many biosafe configurations.

The Sigma 6 16S features a clearly organised display. The patented Spincontrol S one-knob controller provides superior operating convenience and process reliability. Optimisation of separation runs and yields is supported by 60 programs with the option of making user-specific settings, as well as 30 profiles for use as acceleration or braking curves. Custom person-specific settings can be saved with password-protected access control. An extremely practical feature is the large program status display, visible from a distance, with a progress bar.

Ashing furnace LV(T) .. 11 is designed especially for ashing processes to 1050 °C in the laboratory. Applications include determining loss on ignition, ashing food and plastics for subsequent substance analysis. A special fresh-air and exhaust air system ensures that the air is replaced 6 times per minute so that there is always sufficient oxygen for the ashing process. Incoming air passes the furnace heating and is pre-heated to ensure good temperature uniformity.

This table accepts up to five tube holders, each with a capacity of 24 x 50ml tubes. Each tube holder has its own clamp handle allowing it to be easily taken out of the incubator shaker and put on a clean bench while the other tubes keep on shaking. It’s also possible to shake microtiter plates on the EPFL-table, using Duetz 4-place coverclamps. If you have a Kuhner F-size tray (800 x 420mm), you can also clamp that on the table instead of individual holders.

Chemistry-design diaphragm pumps are an excellent solution for continuous, oil-free pumping of corrosive gases and vapors. The one-stage construction provides the advantageous combination of high pumping speed and low ultimate vacuum down to 70 mbar. All major parts in contact with pumped media are made of chemically resistant fluoroplastics. Well-proven PTFE sandwich diaphragms for increased reliability and extended operating life. These large pumps have an exceptionally high pumping speed. The NT-series features further improved performance data and superior vapor tolerance.

For H2O pure types ASTM I + II.
OmniaTap is the ideal system when both pure water and ultrapure water are required, but in relatively small amounts. The ability to provide both types from a single system results from the combination of ultramodern purification technologies. These also make it possible to connect the system directly to a drinking water tap. A press on the dispenser button activates dispensing of ultrapure water type ASTM I via the digital dispenser control. The recirculation of the pure water held in the installed 10 litre tank keeps it permanently at type ASTM II quality. The pure water tank has a second outlet for feeding downstream end users.
